La Fuerza de Uno is built around a personal commitment to fund one $5,000 scholarship each year. Community support allows us to go further by helping us fund a second scholar, increase the size of an award, or expand future scholarship opportunities.

Every contribution helps us put more financial support behind Latino students raised in single-parent or single-guardian households.

The La Fuerza de Uno Fund was created in memory of my mom, Ana Rosa, whose strength and sacrifices are at the heart of this work.

She raised her children as a single mother and taught me that limited resources did not have to mean limited possibility. The opportunities that eventually carried me to Harvard were built on the foundation she created first.

Each year, La Fuerza de Uno is built around my personal commitment to fund one $5,000 scholarship. Contributions to this fund are meant to extend that commitment, not replace it.

With community support, we can fund another scholar, increase the size of an award, or carry resources forward into future scholarship cycles.

Every gift adds another person to the village she once built around my sisters and me.
